OARS is a 30-person project team working to develop a fully autonomous catamaran to compete in the AUVSI Roboboat competition. The boat must be capable of complex computational tasks including navigation to a waypoint, station-keeping, docking with a specific target, and other tasks. On the team, I act as the electrical subteam lead and am responsible for developing and wiring the controls, sensing, and computing system. Additionally, I am a team coordinator, helping to ensure all sub-teams work together efficiently.
