ReFilament is a PLA filament recycler and spooling system designed for the Olin College prototyping community. It provides a sustainable solution to the problem of waste generated in the rapid prototyping process, without sacrificing the spirit of creation so prevalent at Olin. ReFilament allows students to create new ideas without worrying about recurring filament costs or high environmental impact, enabling the evolution of 3D printing as a sustainable process.
